It's the perfect size for daily use for someone like me that doesn't carry much that wouldn't normally fit in my pockets. I don't even need two of the zipper sections. It's comfortable, easy to use and has a classic look. Some people have commented negatively about the phone holding pocket, but I like that the phone protrudes. You can video like a body camera with no one thinking anything of it.
Have owned 3. Always carry and never had to pull my weapon on anyone. No one even knows I have a weapon.
I love this purse. I bought the blue leather and buffalo and I plan to buy the black one. My Glock 19 fits perfectly in the modular holster that came with it and once the pocket is zipped, it holds very tightly. I thought about adding a custom holster, but the draw is easier and quicker for me with the modular holster. The other compartment holds a few essentials and my phone (3"x6") just manages to squeeze into the outer pocket. The crossbody style keeps my hands free and I also like that there is no branding telling everyone that I'm carrying. It resembles a camera bag but I'm not shooting pictures.
Like the dive-in with hand straight down from the top and draw. Replaced the holster with a Crossbreed Small Purse Defender.
Stays where you put it until you need it. I keep a pristine never used Raven purse to keep it from hanging me up at airports when swabbing
in case gunpowder residue might be an issue. When I wear one out, I just order a new one and take the "old" "new" and put it into duty.
I am a Firearms Instructor and Law Enforcement Officer. I recently have been instructing a considerable amount of Ladies Handgun classes and Concealed Carry for Women classes. I purchased this bag to use on the range, both my students and I, along with 3 others. I personally have put this bag through its paces and am impressed. It meets all the criteria I set for my students on a quality off the body carry method, and is safe and functional to use. My students also love the way all the GTM bags look, so that's never an issue. I have found all the bags to be very durable and capable of withstanding not only daily use, but heavy training uses as well. I am excited about sharing the GTM bags with my students and they always receive rave reviews from my students (especially during live fire courses).
The only thing that I tell all my students to switch out or replace on these bags, is the holster that comes with them. The holster itself has held up fine and has not presented any issues with the Glock 19 that I have been using. However, many of my students are using sub-compact guns (Glock 43/42, Sig P365, Ruger LCP) as their carry guns. These small sub-compact guns do not fit well in the supplied holster and have a tendency to roll out of or shift in the holster. In my opinion, Universal holsters are never adequate for trusting your life and safety with, therefore I cannot recommend that minor portion of the GTM Bags.
